I have been accompanying Auntie Lisa(from the states) and Livia and her mum(from Indonesia) shopping these past two days. And the weird thing is that i get to learn more with them around. I reckon its because their foreigners so people feel more obliged to tell them about our culture and our history. Not that I don't know Sir Raffles found our little fishin village but its amazing to see how fellow Singaporeans glow with pride and rattle on about our background. So who says we have no pride for our country, take a walk around town( and pretend to be foreign maybe, lol) and you'll see that people give off their best service and show off the pride they have for the Lion City!
