when mummy leaves; LONG POST

Sometimes we're annoyed with our moms and complain when they nag. But these few days made me realise what a blessing my mom is to me. And how my brother can be annoying yet so cute :( My mum helped me alot through the first week and thats how I settled down quite easily. Alot of people struggle with the change (especially like when theyre not used to english) and they miss theyre parents. But my mum is soo nice to take time off to just settle me down. She cooked a whole pot of curry for my housemates and I before she left and I miss her and my noisy brother now. sigh. I <333 you mummy!





I met up with Vanathi yesterday and I got to know her soo much more. And Othello was just awesome, the actors were so good and they didnt need props or anything! Vanathi WON the aussie law competition IM SOO PROUD OF HER. and she kinda convinced me to try do law here, cos its kind of a general degree and it wont limit me to the jobs that im interested in. She has such a great personality and she taught me to like be true to myself and not conform to the world. Sounds cliche right, but here in syd you really got to apply it. Cuz the culture is so different and people's defination of "in" and "cool" might just get you into trouble.



okayy enough of grandmothering! Vana treated me to white hot chocolate and a world prize winner dessert at a chic restaurant at the sydney harbour; WILDFIRE. we ate wildfire atteise( i think thats how its spelt) and it was realllyy reallyy good! It was both our first time watching a play at the sydney opera house and it was marvvv! She insisted on treating me cos she got paid for coming here. sigh she IS SO LUCKY AND SO VERY CLEVER. Iknow she'll be a fantastic lawyer :D



Coming to sydney means reading the Bible everyday now(since i dont have you guys and stuff), and I didnt even had that kind of discipline back in Sg. I hope my walk with God will be much closer and hopefully I'll be changed for the better la!
